Today was a super busy friday! I went to school and took two tests, then immediatley after, we scurried to Pasco to the Miss Tri-Cities Booth at the Womens Expo. We got to see all the cool vendors and get lots of free chocolate samples. Yum. We then had a family dinner at Red Lobster! I haven't eaten there in so long and it was like music to my stomach.:) my sister and I scidaddled home and got changed for Amandas birthday party which is where the pictures came from. Briana made a surprise appearance and we played bunco! That night was much needed.

Mighty Day

Today was a mighty day

In more than one way

I got a new silly band

that looks really grand

I wore my lion mask

and got off task

but thats okay

because todays a mighty day

I'm happier than I've been

like a lion crawling out of it's den

I've got no homework to do

so I played a game of clue!

Ice cream makes all days mighty

and beautiful like aphrodite

don't slave today away

in the middle of the soup pot

Im ready for things to be fun again.

Whirlwind of a life

My goodness I have been so incredibly busy lately! Sorry for not posting updates. So here is a crash course of what happened Tuesday until today. Tuesday nothing special happened. Wednesday, we had tribe. Boo. But there was dinner at Campaigners and we did coed study which was sooo good. I love God.

Thursday was purple day and Hope for a Cure. I have been thinking about this show since July. and Thursday was the day. It happened. I was hoping more people would have showed up but the show itself was so cool and the people that came said it was an ultimate success! Im so happy!

I took a couple pictures for Soleil which was fantastic.

Today is Friday and we had NO SCHOOL!! Whoooopiieeee!! We all gathered at Lampson Stadium to create a giant human cancer ribbon. If we got 5,000 people there we made the Guniess Book of World Records. We didn't have 5,000 people there but it still sounds cool haha. Then my sister and I got lost trying to find our way to the country merchantile but made it with both arms and totally defeated the purpose of why we went. We went for Pumpkins. We ended up eating lunch and buying two full bags of their specialty made chocolates and had a feast. It was some much needed sister time:) That place was so cute!

Then it was time for the football game! the PINK football game. I sported my pink polka dot footie pajamas and mickey ears. I started going crazy and couldn't contain myself. What can I say. My day surely got better as it went on. Oh and I got to see Jessi Strecker which made me smile:)

The week of Pink

Today was the first day of Pink week! Hooray!! I love Pink week!! We played an awesome game at lunch today called Stop the Bieber where we played an annoying Justin Bieber song over and over again and people had to pay us to switch it! haha we made $38. Score. I also sold 18 tickets to Hope for a Cure!! whoopppiiee!!! Im so excited!!! It should be a terrific show! :D Get your tickets if you haven't already! Today was also the first Young Life!! YEAHH!!! Man versus wild. my goodness was it wild. WILD! I love young life. There was so many new faces which made me happy. Lots of new people to be friends with:) What a great way to start the week. Tomorrow is the 6am assembly at Southridge!

We made History

Today I made history and crossed one more thing off my bucket list. Last year everyone thought I was crazy when I said I wanted to have a parade around campus. Guess what we had today? A parade. That's right. The very first parade in the history of Kamiakin. And surely not the last. But Im getting ahead of my britches. This morning started out with our assembly where Mr. Chelin, Mr. Ard, Mrs. Crocket and plenty of other goofy teachers dressed up like hard core rocker jailers and rode in the gym on motercycles! oh myy goodness! how intense. Then It was time for our parade. It consisted of music, balloons, bubbles, candy, floats, and even people on rollerblades. It couldn't have gone better. There were so many people watching and I think everyone had a fun time:) I sure did. After school we decorated for homecoming then had a pizza feast at our house. The football game was super fun included the half time show. oh and one more thing I almost forgot about today. I got asked to homecoming! and it's tomorrow!!
