A very Merry Christmas

So I'm going to have to break down and say that I was not in the Christmas mood for a while before today. And it was kind of scaring me. But no worries everyone, today was filled with spirit.
I am so blessed to have such a thoughtful, awesome and  crazy family. I got some extremely epic hats and glasses! I am so pumped. We spent thirty minutes doing the 10 minute P90X workouts which almost killed me. Almost. We played games and began preparing the feast and the roast beast. Just kidding we had turkey. Gottcha! We ended off the night with my favorite movie of all times... Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. I LOVE CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW!!!! AHH THAT MOVIE IS SO AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Okay sorry. I had to express myself. One thing I did today that I haven't felt in a while is relaxed. I have never felt good about myself just sitting down and doing absolutely nothing and loving it in a really long time and today it felt fabulous. Let me tell  you. No I'd rather not. hah okay, I think I should probably end this post right now because the Sparrow is getting to my head.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Eve of Christmas

Today is Christmas Eve!! I got crafty with some old things I found and made Meryn's Christmas present. Then I traveled down to her house and surprised her with it! I hope she likes it:) I went to Starbucks with my mom to exchange gifts with Lindsay and while we were waiting we people watched. There was about 55 people in there. We met the future President of the United States and Elvis Presley's nephew. haha We picked up a yummy dinner at Samurai Sams. God kept bringing tears to my eyes about the most random things. My mom is so amazing and I am so lucky to have her as my own. Dad, Victoria and I went to the 6 o'clock Christmas Eve service. Little did we know, it started at 5 o'clock. Whoops. We got to hold candles and sing though, you know, all the good stuff. I just love my family and can't wait for tomorrow.

Be happy everyone:)
Merry Christmas

Surprise Surprise!

Today was just a day full of surprises. I didn't do really much of anything but my brother Eric came over and talked with my sister and I about his new Airforce life. Man has he grown up. I just love him. Then the neighbor came a brought us cookies! At five o'clock on the dot my good buddy Max Shoop (Buckets) surprised us so he had dinner with us while watching Prince Caspian. Then all of our buddies started coming in for the party! It was so refreshing to see everyone together again.:) The entire night I just sat and watched everything and kept thinking "I love this, I love this, I love this" It was a fantastic night. I love all my friends.

Break day

I  made a music video with Meryn today! Gosh it was so fun. We also accomplished to get the car stuck in the middle of the driveway. I then went to the Nursing home to sing Christmas Carols to the elderly. They we so sweet just like the last batch. There was one lady who was 99 years old sitting in the front row and she recited the entire book of Twas the night before Christmas with out the book in front of her. All by memory. I was in awe. It was so incredible. Then we ventured over to the Laureano's house for dinner! We made a yummy pasta something and topped it off with New York Cheesecake. We played lots of games and laughed a lot. Their children are so funny and cute:) I just love them.

I love having no school.

Relaxing

I ventured to Seattle this weekend and got back in touch with my funny side. I have missed it. I don't know what hit me but I think I've finally moved past all the worrying and over analyzing and just had fun with the times I'm given. It was so nice to see all the Miss Washington folks again. Jacquie's send off party was incredible. She is such a blessing and more than ready for this experience. She is going to do so awesome and I can't wait to go down to Las Vegas to watch her compete!! She got to come with my family shopping which was so much fun and we made a hilarious video. WHOO! It was just a great weekend.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34

I got 99 problems but my kicks ain't one.

I have a new sole in my soul.
I was and am still so astonished that someone would buy these for me for Christmas. I don't even feel worthy to wear them! So I took pictures of them.
This will be my high for a good couple of weeks. I am so stoked!!
Thank you Joey!!

2 more days.

Today after school I went to the Nursing home and sang Christmas Carols to the elderly. They were so adorable! One grandma sang me the entire song of Silver Bells and then walked off. Another one said that she was so happy I came in because everyone forgets that old people like to see young people too. I am so excited to go to another one on the 21st.

Then we had the Campaigners Christmas party and boy was that fun. I am so happy that most of the college kids are home and we had a lovely dinner and fun games. The week is almost over and then break!!!!! 2 more days. I can do it.

Oh, and we got  a cheesecake from New York in the mail today. Gotta love the family.

Merry Christmas folks.

Rainbows.

Today was one of those miraculous days where it starts out being less  than -7 and ends up being 11111.3354.

I fell up the stairs. Flat on my face. At school. In front of about 6 people.

Then a bowl of water out of the middle of no where comes down from the ceiling and gets me all wet.

I could go into detail about all the other things that made this day terrible but that's not why I am here. I am here to tell you how it got turned around.

I had a great time at vocal lessons.

This ginormous, vivid, beautiful rainbow came out of the sky, right in front of my house, so close enough for me to touch. I could see the entire arc too. It was so amazing. That was God saying hello to me.

I went to Young Life and had the greatest time. I got to hang out with all my buddies and it made me so joyful. The talk was really good and was just another sign of God saying, "Hey wake up. I'm here, so just hold your britches and wait." which is exactly what I  needed to hear.

Then I had a Blizzard from Dairy Queen. Any day that ends in ice-cream, is a good day.

I have .23 seconds to post this blog because I must run to school. well.... drive. but this is the very last week of school and it is our Christmas Spirit week! I really dont want to go today so I hope it's fun.

Ill be back.

The Penguins of Madagascar

What a fun weekend! We got home from Tacoma yesterday after the grand opening of the new dress store where my sister and I modeled their dresses. The Kamiakin Braves played a hard game and unfortunatley lost:( But thats okay we won the relay! I think us girls were loosing it back at home because who knows what happened then all of a sudden we were all singing the National Anthem in the kitchen. Then we decided to eat our frozen chocolate pie and watch Madagascar 2. That is now 59 times. Crazy, I know. I am so antsy for all the college kids to get home so I hope these next couple weeks are fun so it takes my mind off of not wanting to be in school.

Go eat some chocolate pie.
Out.

I am so ready for the most intense game.

Over and Out.

not so typical day

Today was an extraordinary day to say the least.

1) we found out that my cousin with cancer passed away
2) I can't understand Spanish
3) I want to sit down and cry and not think about anything
4) Im not going to because God has a plan and it will be so much easier if I just stop worrying and trust Him.

I choose yes.

When I look at my life I see colors.
There are so many different things that shape me and make me, me.
God has given me special talents and I want to use them to glorify Him in every way.

There is so much out there in the world.
So many opportunities.
So many chances to be a part of something bigger than yourself.
When Jesus came down to this Earth, He did nothing but share the love of God with others that were around Him so that they might be saved. He made no mistakes and He was guilty of nothing.

Barrabas was guilty and set free in replace of Jesus...blameless. Jesus died having done nothing.
Is that fair?
Jesus endured far more than we could ever imagine.
Do you know what we deserve?
Eternal death.
But we have a second chance because Jesus wanted to give us the greatest gift that could ever be given.
Life.
So for us to throw that away, not even give recognition for what Jesus did, and prance around this world like it spins for us, is not okay.
Jesus paid the ultimate price and we are not the least bit deserving.
We are so blessed.
We all have the choice wether or not we will follow Christ.
My choice is yes.
I want to set the world on fire, until it burns bright for God.
It is my mission to reach as many people as I can in this life and let them know about how much God loves them.
Through the opportunities God has given me, my white canvas of life is turning into a mural.
He provides the paint and it is up to me how beautiful I make my drawing.
I plan to produce and create the most exquisite painting and live every second to the uttermost.

Be Bold.
Be Radical for God.

emosewa

Today was just a plain old awesome day.
Let me rephrase myself.
This whole week has been plain old awesome.
Besides the fact that it needs to hurry up and be friday.

I got to wear one of the sweetest shirts in the world and it made me so incredibly happy. Lindsay donated it to me for the day. WHOOP!

I went to Micheals after school and almost cried because I only could spend less than five minutes inside and I could have easily spent a few hours in there. If someone would just take me to Micheals for my birthday and let me walk around I would be the happiest kid alive.

Tonight we had our ASB Thanksgiving Feast and it was so much fun. I think I ate the most out of everyone there. I had three plate fulls. The boys never knew I could fit so much in me. That's right. I can eat. Short story small we had some good quality time together and it was exactly what I needed.

The Pulse

So sorry Earthlings. I forgot to post things. The first day of classes was good. We learned some sweet dances and I met Carmit from the Pussycat Dolls. I also got picked to be in the fashion show in the showcase that evening so I got to dance in some of their merchandise! It was so fun!! The second day of the pulse was fantastic. My number got called by Desmond Richardson to come out with a couple other kids and do the dance again. I think that means I did it good! Mia Micheals could not make it so we took a class from the choreographer from Glee. At the awards ceremony I got a scholarship!! I get to go to another city and take classes for free!! I am so excited!! Overall great weekend and I am so completely stoked about everything! Now back to school.

Tigers, Lions and Goblins?

Okay. Hello friends.
I traveled to Portland today. Let me tell you. I really needed to get out of the Tri-Cities. I absolutely love traveling and this trip I know is going to be unforgettable.
We are here for the Pulse convention with Mia Michaels!

Before we walked into the hotel, the bell hop said he was so surprised we didn't know what was going on. Apparently the National Sci-Fi convention is here...this weekend...at our hotel. He told us not to make them mad because they would cast a spell on us.

Believe it or not we walk in and it looked like Halloween town. I felt like I needed a Harry Potter costume. Except the majority is adults, and it's the scary kind. One guy tried to cast a spell on the elevator.

My sister and I people watched and we met a normal guy (well he was gay but he was wearing normal people clothes) from Brussels! The Country!! He was cool. I gave him a cookie.

All the goblins and vampires were having a dance rave party down the hall. It was kind of entertaining. I think it's crazy how people actually believe this stuff and this is how they live their lives. Add Image

My favorite one of the night was a guy all decked out in who knows what and practically screamed, "I'm not trying to impress you but I'm Super Man!"

hehehhhehe This is so exciting.

Stay tuned,,, I will upload more pictures tomorrow.

May the force be with you.

fridayfridayfridayfridayfriday

Fabulous Friday.
Funny Friday.
Festive Friday.
Food Friday.
Fart Friday.
Funfetti Friday.

Today was insanity!! It was Friday which is insanity by itself but the events which occured werefantastic.

1. I wore my $4 Bright Pink Swishy Pants to school today which was a fantasy.

2. We had a Cat's Cradle Olympics in English today. We have had the same sub the entire week and she didn't like the lesson plans so we had a party and did about half of our work througout the week. She bought string and a cats cradle book just for fun and it brought back so many memories of my skill as a child. Gosh. We need to bring back some of those tradtions.

3. After school Molly Walker drove me home and my mom decided to get herself an iPad. I asked her if she told dad and she told me, "Well, dad went hunting so I figured I would too! This is what I shot!" hah gotta love the mothers. now She's hooting at me every 5 minutes because she doesn't know how to work the thing.
4. Molly, Heidi, Victoria and I tried really hard to put up our Christmas lights outside, and kind of failed. well try again Sunday.

5. I did Pilates

6. Molly and I went to Albertson's and got lost. Going to Albertsons. yuup.

7. We made funfetti cookies and banana muffins and ate Chili and Cornbread.

8. We deliverd them to Kelly Johnston.

9. We discovered the new Starbucks Carmel Machiatto ice cream and became addicted. It is the best thing your tongue will ever come in contact with.

10. We ended out our night by watching Toy Story 3. I cried.

I hope yall had as fierce of a Friday as I did.

The Bright side of a light bulb

Everyone hates Monday's. Not me. I love them. It's the starter to your week, a new beginning to fix everything you didn't like about last week. Oh and also Young Life. everybody loves Young Life. But I'm getting way too ahead of myself.

So.
Today I wore my crazy neon tye die shirt I painted and I just had a feeling something exciting was going to happen so I brought my camera along. I don't know what I was thinking,,, nothing exciting happened at school. Besides the fact that I can't sit still in any of my classes. haha.

However, after school, Molly and I got lost and ended up at Value Village. Hooray. Double Hooray. I found some bright pink swishy pants and some old Disney records for $9! Que Ganga! They are so sweet! I will post pictures later. We talked for a while in the parking lot about how lovely gift cards were.

Then I traveled to my very first voice lesson. Oh boy. I was in for a treat. A couple treats actually. The lady really shouldn't have had such an assortment of chocolates on her table because every time she left the room I would stuff about 10 in my mouth. I love the Dove ones with the little quotes on the inside. The first two I opened had things to do with dancing. I think that's God's way of telling me I need to start enjoying myself at dance. But all in all singing was fun and my teacher sounds like a Disney Princess.

I then came home and got something in the mail!! YES!! and even better... it was a Christmas card!!! from my aunt! hahah my family is so crazy, and you will never guess what was in it. Gift cards. Thats right. God is so flawless. I am speechless. There is another prayer answered. not even because I needed it, but just to let me know that he is there.

Young Life was splendid tonight. Every week there are at least 10 different people that come and it makes me so happy! I am meeting so many people.

If I had one piece of advice for yall it would be this:

Love God and Live for God. He has ultimate power and will give you happiness you will not find anywhere else.

An Awesome God

wow. what a day.
God appears in the coolest ways. Don't ever give up praying because God has answered all of my prayers this past week.

Prayer 1: I asked God to give me inspiration and a purpose to wake up every morning knowing it's going to be a good day.

Answer: I woke up one morning and the first thing that popped in my head was, "It's another chance to live my life for the Lord"

Prayer 2: I asked God for everyone to be motivated and hard working in Leadership.

Answer: Friday I felt like every one had the Christmas spirit in them and was all excited and working on our little surprise.

Prayer 3: I prayed for God to send me good friends to be with.

Answer: Thank you to Molly, Max, Sam, Jackie, and Blake

Prayer 4: I asked God to help me keep in contact with all my friends that went off to college and show me that they are doing good.

Answer: Jaxon, Laurel, Tommy and Eric, yall made my life 20 times better.

I could go on and on with the things the Lord has blessed me with but I think you get the point. This morning I went to the Tri-cities Marathon and gave medals to the finishers. It was so awesome to see the sense of accomplishment on people's faces as they raced across the finish line. One guy probably about 19 ran the whole thing in a pair of flip flops. Kudos to you buddy. Then I watched Princess and the Frog with my sister, Amanda and Karli. That is such a wonderful movie. "You really think it's never gonna end, cause it is.... 3..2....1.."

not bad eh?
I like it.

4. I went to school and broke my heels. But don't worry, It's nothing duct tape can't fix.

5. I went to Kadlec to answer calls for the Kid-athon for raising money for the new NICU. They ended up raising $98,000.

6. I ate some yummy dinner then had a surprise visit from Jaxon! YAY! I love it when college kids come home. I miss them all so much!

7. I went to the Football came and froze my tootsies off. We won. Undefeated. We're going to state.

Cat Suit

Today is Thursday.
Nothing major happened in school.
I went to dance with my mind flipped on something else.
It was dress up day for Halloween and all I could find was a brown unitard with a 12 inch tail attached to it. Other wise known as my cat suit. So I threw on the cat suit and wiggled my chip hat onto my head and was a chipmunk. With a 12 inch tail. :) We gAdd Imageot to take tap and hip hop with Dammon Keller and it was superb!!

I never knew hip hop could look so good in a cat suit.
