Park in the Art

This morning I woke up and went to go meet the pilots who fly the big fighter jets in the air show. I got to sit in one of the planes!! AH! Then I watched Eric get sworn into the air force. The water works paid me a visit.

I then joined Amanda, Kelly, Hannah and my sister as we cruised through Art in the Park. That was so intense!! We went back to Amandas house and Kelly taught us how to make Fruit tarts. yummy. Ultimate success.

When I came home I fell asleep outside, made myself dinner, and then went exploring to get a headshot for New York. We just got a call saying that our flight to California tomorrow is canceled and the earliest we can get there is 5:00 PM. So basically we are going to miss everything. It put me in a bad mood and I'm trying to get over it. Those kind of things make me so mad. I get so excited for things and then they fail.Ugh.

Beautiful Ending

This morning I woke up and played with some HDR. I'm no good at it, but these are the pictures I got. I then proceeded on to my very last drive and passed with a 87%!!! yippeee!!! After that I drooled over my sister's new dress she got in the mail. She is beautiful. I'm so lucky.

I am proud to announce that I have a pen pal. I got mail today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best day of my life. I love mail. I'm writing my letter back right now. I ended the night with a party with all of the Teen contestants. Two of them randomly decided to dress up like Lady Gaga. haha. It was fun, I needed that laughter. As we drove home my sister and I watched the beautiful array of colors in the sky and listened to Beautiful Ending by Barlow Girl. In the end it will be Beautiful so we have to hang tight.

At last

An exciting day to say the least. I volunteered at the Kiddies Parade judging the little ones as they came across in their decorated floats they made. How adorable. I just love little kids! We had so much extra time so my director told me I was to sing. Haha. I told her I wasn't a singer. I sang anyway. Yes. Me. Nicole Renard. The one who can't sing worth a hoot. I sang. In front of a hundred little children. Haha. It was grand. After some swimming I had my second to last drive and let me tell you it was 10,000 times better than my last one. I then went to Campaigners and just had the best time. I love Jesus:)

Me attempting to sing;) ^^^^^

A New Begining

Wow. It's been a busy weekend! I am the new Miss Tri-Cities Outstanding Teen!!
I can't beleive it! I'm so excited for all the things planned for this next year. I am also so excited that Adrienne is the new Miss Tr-Cities so I get to spend the whole year with her!! YAY!
I started off this morning with my first public appearance. I was interviewed on the Radio and got to meet the announcers guys on KONA radio!

All in all, I am so ecstatic and can't wait to get moving on all the events:)
Today I made a decision that I hope is for the better. I am scared out of m pants but it was what the God was telling me to do. Everything will be okay. I traveled down to Erwins and took some fun photos with Phil and Victoria. He is one talented cookie. At 6:30 I was making my second appearance at the Tri-cities Talent show where I performed and handed out awards. That was exciting! Any day topped off with a late night at Denny's deserves a 10 so today was a 10.

In the end it will be okay. If its not okay, it's not the end.

If you could really accept that you weren't ok you, could stop proving you were ok. If you could stop proving that you were ok you could get that it was ok not to be ok. If you could get that it was ok not to be ok you could get that you were ok the way you are. You're ok, get it?

Hello Seattle

I woke up at 4:24 this morning to hit the road with some buddies to Seattle!
I have never actually toured it before so I got to see many new places!
We hit Pikes Place Market and the Farmers Market where there was such good fruit and beautiful flowers. I visited the very first Starbucks! After we hit up Urban Outfitters, we ventured to the Paramount theater where I was surprised to find a few of my friends there doing a show! For lunch we went to the Cheese cake factory which was mucho delicious. My sister joined us as we then went to the Seattle Aquarium.

I said farewell to my friends and my family came back to the hotel to watch the official preliminary of Miss Washington. Those girls are so talented. I was impressed. My sister is flawless to say the least.

The next day I helped sell raffle tickets at the Miss Washington Alumni Luncheon. FUN! This was an inspiring event. At the show I met up with my good buddy Cole. I haven't seen him in a year but it seems like we just saw each other yesterday! He always gives me a good laugh. We ended the night with a ball at the Tea Palace. I learned how to say the cat is on fire in Chinese. Amazing weekend.
Goodbye Seattle.

Neon Brown

Art in the Park

I give today a 77 out of 20. Vivacious to say the least.

Tommy joined me this morning and we blew up balloons with paint in them. Then we shot tacks at it onto a canvas board. EXUBERATING! Not only did he experience splatter painting, but also got to enjoy the unique taste of paint as a balloon exploded in his face as he blew it up!! Haha. Then I taught him how to water color. This guy is such a motivation and has some great things coming down the path. Im sure going to miss him. Eric and Shasta then joined us and helped us paint sculptures. Before I knew it I was off to another rehearsal. I ended up at Erwin's house talking about our trip and eating their stale ice cream. As I walked back home I realized that it was incredibly warm, there was absolutely no wind or clouds and there were thousands of stars in the sky. This meant one thing. Camping out on the roof. Yup. I grabbed my sleeping bag and footsie pajamas and headed to the top. I couldn't sleep because the stars were so beautiful. It was such a nice feeling waking up to the sun in your face and the warm radiating from everywhere.
I love this life.:)

Life is not like Binoculars

I took Halle's senior Pictures today! It was my first time and I think it turned out pretty good! I also got the sweeetest polaroid camera!!! pictures soon to come! :D

I learned a lesson today.
Life is not like Binoculars.

What do Binoculars do for you? They let you see better further ahead so you can have a clear vision of what's coming up.

In this world it seems that we are so wrapped up in what to do, whats coming and what the answers are to all of our problems. In life, we don't get a pair of binoculars to look through to see whats coming up so we can prepare for it. God didn't want it to be that way. He wants things to go according to His plan and reach us in it's right time. We won't get all the answers and that's okay. So many questions in one short life. Stop trying to look through binoculars.

Ecclesiastes 3 says:

1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,

4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.

There is a time for everything and only God knows when it's right. All we can do is live in the moment, follow Him and seize the day. Carpe Diem.

The Day of Dogs

Today was the day of dogs. I saw 6 of them in less than an hour. All different and adorable in their own ways.

I had the best day today!!! Lindsay joined my sister and I for a browse through the Dollar tree. i wanted to buy everything. We got some pretty entertaining things and then we met up with Halle at Starbucks. Yum:)

As we sipped our drink, Lindsay made me a bracelet and we had some good quality catch up time including talks about dance, Malibu, life and God. I love these girls. We have been through so much!
We then thought it would be comical to make a music video to Crawl by Chris Brown for reasons I can't explain. We went into Albertson's and filmed each other crawling down the aisles until we got kicked out.

Let me tell you...this video will be bomb. I came home, had a quick dinner then it was off to Miss Tri-cities practice once again! I'll sum up this day in three words.

I. Love. Summer.
