A very Merry Christmas

So I'm going to have to break down and say that I was not in the Christmas mood for a while before today. And it was kind of scaring me. But no worries everyone, today was filled with spirit.
I am so blessed to have such a thoughtful, awesome and  crazy family. I got some extremely epic hats and glasses! I am so pumped. We spent thirty minutes doing the 10 minute P90X workouts which almost killed me. Almost. We played games and began preparing the feast and the roast beast. Just kidding we had turkey. Gottcha! We ended off the night with my favorite movie of all times... Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. I LOVE CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW!!!! AHH THAT MOVIE IS SO AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Okay sorry. I had to express myself. One thing I did today that I haven't felt in a while is relaxed. I have never felt good about myself just sitting down and doing absolutely nothing and loving it in a really long time and today it felt fabulous. Let me tell  you. No I'd rather not. hah okay, I think I should probably end this post right now because the Sparrow is getting to my head.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Eve of Christmas

Today is Christmas Eve!! I got crafty with some old things I found and made Meryn's Christmas present. Then I traveled down to her house and surprised her with it! I hope she likes it:) I went to Starbucks with my mom to exchange gifts with Lindsay and while we were waiting we people watched. There was about 55 people in there. We met the future President of the United States and Elvis Presley's nephew. haha We picked up a yummy dinner at Samurai Sams. God kept bringing tears to my eyes about the most random things. My mom is so amazing and I am so lucky to have her as my own. Dad, Victoria and I went to the 6 o'clock Christmas Eve service. Little did we know, it started at 5 o'clock. Whoops. We got to hold candles and sing though, you know, all the good stuff. I just love my family and can't wait for tomorrow.

Be happy everyone:)
Merry Christmas

Surprise Surprise!

Today was just a day full of surprises. I didn't do really much of anything but my brother Eric came over and talked with my sister and I about his new Airforce life. Man has he grown up. I just love him. Then the neighbor came a brought us cookies! At five o'clock on the dot my good buddy Max Shoop (Buckets) surprised us so he had dinner with us while watching Prince Caspian. Then all of our buddies started coming in for the party! It was so refreshing to see everyone together again.:) The entire night I just sat and watched everything and kept thinking "I love this, I love this, I love this" It was a fantastic night. I love all my friends.

Break day

I  made a music video with Meryn today! Gosh it was so fun. We also accomplished to get the car stuck in the middle of the driveway. I then went to the Nursing home to sing Christmas Carols to the elderly. They we so sweet just like the last batch. There was one lady who was 99 years old sitting in the front row and she recited the entire book of Twas the night before Christmas with out the book in front of her. All by memory. I was in awe. It was so incredible. Then we ventured over to the Laureano's house for dinner! We made a yummy pasta something and topped it off with New York Cheesecake. We played lots of games and laughed a lot. Their children are so funny and cute:) I just love them.

I love having no school.

Relaxing

I ventured to Seattle this weekend and got back in touch with my funny side. I have missed it. I don't know what hit me but I think I've finally moved past all the worrying and over analyzing and just had fun with the times I'm given. It was so nice to see all the Miss Washington folks again. Jacquie's send off party was incredible. She is such a blessing and more than ready for this experience. She is going to do so awesome and I can't wait to go down to Las Vegas to watch her compete!! She got to come with my family shopping which was so much fun and we made a hilarious video. WHOO! It was just a great weekend.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34

I got 99 problems but my kicks ain't one.

I have a new sole in my soul.
I was and am still so astonished that someone would buy these for me for Christmas. I don't even feel worthy to wear them! So I took pictures of them.
This will be my high for a good couple of weeks. I am so stoked!!
Thank you Joey!!

2 more days.

Today after school I went to the Nursing home and sang Christmas Carols to the elderly. They were so adorable! One grandma sang me the entire song of Silver Bells and then walked off. Another one said that she was so happy I came in because everyone forgets that old people like to see young people too. I am so excited to go to another one on the 21st.

Then we had the Campaigners Christmas party and boy was that fun. I am so happy that most of the college kids are home and we had a lovely dinner and fun games. The week is almost over and then break!!!!! 2 more days. I can do it.

Oh, and we got  a cheesecake from New York in the mail today. Gotta love the family.

Merry Christmas folks.

Rainbows.

Today was one of those miraculous days where it starts out being less  than -7 and ends up being 11111.3354.

I fell up the stairs. Flat on my face. At school. In front of about 6 people.

Then a bowl of water out of the middle of no where comes down from the ceiling and gets me all wet.

I could go into detail about all the other things that made this day terrible but that's not why I am here. I am here to tell you how it got turned around.

I had a great time at vocal lessons.

This ginormous, vivid, beautiful rainbow came out of the sky, right in front of my house, so close enough for me to touch. I could see the entire arc too. It was so amazing. That was God saying hello to me.

I went to Young Life and had the greatest time. I got to hang out with all my buddies and it made me so joyful. The talk was really good and was just another sign of God saying, "Hey wake up. I'm here, so just hold your britches and wait." which is exactly what I  needed to hear.

Then I had a Blizzard from Dairy Queen. Any day that ends in ice-cream, is a good day.

I have .23 seconds to post this blog because I must run to school. well.... drive. but this is the very last week of school and it is our Christmas Spirit week! I really dont want to go today so I hope it's fun.

Ill be back.

The Penguins of Madagascar

What a fun weekend! We got home from Tacoma yesterday after the grand opening of the new dress store where my sister and I modeled their dresses. The Kamiakin Braves played a hard game and unfortunatley lost:( But thats okay we won the relay! I think us girls were loosing it back at home because who knows what happened then all of a sudden we were all singing the National Anthem in the kitchen. Then we decided to eat our frozen chocolate pie and watch Madagascar 2. That is now 59 times. Crazy, I know. I am so antsy for all the college kids to get home so I hope these next couple weeks are fun so it takes my mind off of not wanting to be in school.

Go eat some chocolate pie.
Out.

not so typical day

Today was an extraordinary day to say the least.

1) we found out that my cousin with cancer passed away
2) I can't understand Spanish
3) I want to sit down and cry and not think about anything
4) Im not going to because God has a plan and it will be so much easier if I just stop worrying and trust Him.
