The Chicken Dance

This morning I slept in and went to Christ the King school to judge there annual Chicken Dance. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Not only was it just little kids doing the chicken dance, each pair was dressed up in some sort of theme and had revised the "dance" to their own dance moves. My personal favorite was the Obama and Palin jedi's fighting with light sabers. That put me in a good mood for the rest of the day:)

When I came home my eating of one watermelon slice turned into 7 slices. mmm. who knew such a lovely taste could come from such a thing? I then did something again out of my schedule. While I was supposed to be going to dance, I went to maurices for a fitting. I am going to be in the Rescues and Runways fashion show for them. It is an auction for the animal shelter dogs so not only do I get to model their clothes but also the little dogs! I can't wait!! Anyone can come to the fashion show and even bring their dogs along with them.:) It's going to be so cute. Then I went to dance and came home. What an exhausting day. I can't believe it's already Friday.

Rock.Star

Today I wore my Rock Star pants. I also accessorised with my Rock Star Earrings. I truly feel like a Rock Star every time I wear this outfit. When ever some one would say they liked my pants I told them, "Thanks! These are my rock star pants (modeling them) and these are my rock star earrings (showing them) and this is my Rock star outfit (demonstrating)." I counted 11 times total throughout the day. Brilliant:) So maybe one day when I actually go to a Rock concert I'll wear my Rock Star outfit.

Thinking Spot

This is my Thinking Spot. I come here and think. Winnie the Pooh inspired me. Think...think...think. just like that. That's what I do. I think about all things. Tall things, short things, skinny things, fat things. I think of outer space, the sparkling stars, heaven, warm clothes after they came out of the dryer, popsicles, and sometimes I even invent things. There are no rules to my thinking because I just think. If you limit yourself you never know how much you can think. Lots of times this is where I get my crazy, random sparatic ideas. If you never did you should. These things are fun and fun is good. So try it. Find your thinking spot and think.

-think left and think right and think low and think high. oh, the things you can think up if only you try! Dr, Suess

deripsnI

There's a little bit of something that inspires me each day. I can't quite put my finger on it but every day that same little pinch encourages me to be better than I was yesterday. God is pointing my eyes in a different direction this year. He has new things for me to focus on and I'm so excited to watch all his plans unfold. I am open and willing to perform any task He wants and will remain positive and encourage others to be their best and strive for their dreams. Leadership is becoming such a big part of my life.

Today we had a fire drill and it was blistering cold and windy out. Thank-you to the random freshman who whipped out her ukulele and started singing some Jason Mraz. We developed a nice circle to keep warm and enjoyed the free entertainment.

During lunch I played music and made some people happy.

Today I found out that my ingenious idea is a go. Kamiakin will be having their very first parade. Yes. A parade. With a marching band, music, balloons, floats, baton twirlers, dancing and candy. I will upload pictures of the epicness when it happens.

I also took some Senior Pictures for my sister which was fun.

So stay inspired folks. Thats all for today:)

One Tribe

Some days I fail to see the value in things. Every day we take for granted one of the smallest things that has been placed in our lives.

That is our school.

On days much similar to Friday, I am reminded of why I am a brave.

Why I'm proud to be a brave.

Why I take an extra step and be spirited, just for the fun of it.

It's all of us. All of us together make up this place we call Kamiakin. With teamwork we make our tribe united, spirited, and better than any other in the Tri-Cities.

When I step into an assembly and see hundreds of teens cheering on one another, filled with school pride, I know I'm the right place. I get chills down my spine every time we lead the tribe chant with booming drums, indian chants and synchronized arms going up and down while we welcome our football team out to the field. This is why I'm proud to be a brave. We are one of a kind when it comes to enthusiasm and true school confidence and every single one of us are part of this tribe.
