The Bright side of a light bulb

Everyone hates Monday's. Not me. I love them. It's the starter to your week, a new beginning to fix everything you didn't like about last week. Oh and also Young Life. everybody loves Young Life. But I'm getting way too ahead of myself.

So.
Today I wore my crazy neon tye die shirt I painted and I just had a feeling something exciting was going to happen so I brought my camera along. I don't know what I was thinking,,, nothing exciting happened at school. Besides the fact that I can't sit still in any of my classes. haha.

However, after school, Molly and I got lost and ended up at Value Village. Hooray. Double Hooray. I found some bright pink swishy pants and some old Disney records for $9! Que Ganga! They are so sweet! I will post pictures later. We talked for a while in the parking lot about how lovely gift cards were.

Then I traveled to my very first voice lesson. Oh boy. I was in for a treat. A couple treats actually. The lady really shouldn't have had such an assortment of chocolates on her table because every time she left the room I would stuff about 10 in my mouth. I love the Dove ones with the little quotes on the inside. The first two I opened had things to do with dancing. I think that's God's way of telling me I need to start enjoying myself at dance. But all in all singing was fun and my teacher sounds like a Disney Princess.

I then came home and got something in the mail!! YES!! and even better... it was a Christmas card!!! from my aunt! hahah my family is so crazy, and you will never guess what was in it. Gift cards. Thats right. God is so flawless. I am speechless. There is another prayer answered. not even because I needed it, but just to let me know that he is there.

Young Life was splendid tonight. Every week there are at least 10 different people that come and it makes me so happy! I am meeting so many people.

If I had one piece of advice for yall it would be this:

Love God and Live for God. He has ultimate power and will give you happiness you will not find anywhere else.

An Awesome God

wow. what a day.
God appears in the coolest ways. Don't ever give up praying because God has answered all of my prayers this past week.

Prayer 1: I asked God to give me inspiration and a purpose to wake up every morning knowing it's going to be a good day.

Answer: I woke up one morning and the first thing that popped in my head was, "It's another chance to live my life for the Lord"

Prayer 2: I asked God for everyone to be motivated and hard working in Leadership.

Answer: Friday I felt like every one had the Christmas spirit in them and was all excited and working on our little surprise.

Prayer 3: I prayed for God to send me good friends to be with.

Answer: Thank you to Molly, Max, Sam, Jackie, and Blake

Prayer 4: I asked God to help me keep in contact with all my friends that went off to college and show me that they are doing good.

Answer: Jaxon, Laurel, Tommy and Eric, yall made my life 20 times better.

I could go on and on with the things the Lord has blessed me with but I think you get the point. This morning I went to the Tri-cities Marathon and gave medals to the finishers. It was so awesome to see the sense of accomplishment on people's faces as they raced across the finish line. One guy probably about 19 ran the whole thing in a pair of flip flops. Kudos to you buddy. Then I watched Princess and the Frog with my sister, Amanda and Karli. That is such a wonderful movie. "You really think it's never gonna end, cause it is.... 3..2....1.."

not bad eh?
I like it.

Cat Suit

Today is Thursday.
Nothing major happened in school.
I went to dance with my mind flipped on something else.
It was dress up day for Halloween and all I could find was a brown unitard with a 12 inch tail attached to it. Other wise known as my cat suit. So I threw on the cat suit and wiggled my chip hat onto my head and was a chipmunk. With a 12 inch tail. :) We gAdd Imageot to take tap and hip hop with Dammon Keller and it was superb!!

I never knew hip hop could look so good in a cat suit.

It only takes one voice

Today is the National Make a Difference day. I went to a park in Richland where they were building an entirely new playground set up. There were little kids painting bird houses, playgrounds being built, tunnels being made, trees being planted and I was placing rocks for the creek and waterfalls! I can't wait to see the finished product! I was very surprised at how many people showed up to help! Then I went to the Dance Class to take a zumba class in the parking lot! They were raising money for cancer awareness. I got a cute pink shirt that says Dancers for Cancer. It was a lazy day after that. I crafted for a bit then napped then ate dinner and read my bible. While I was listening to the song 100 years, I thought to myself, "Myself, 15 is the prime time of my life. I still have so far to go and there is so much out there for me to discover. There's no use in worrying about things I can't change, but I can find ways to try new things and get the most out of the best years of my life." So my motherly words toAdd Image you all is to not forget who you are and why you are put here on this Earth. We all have to capability to make a difference so what are we waiting for?

Zumba

Today Molly Walker made my day.:) She gave me a letter and M&Ms. Chocolate makes everything better. But more than that, so does God and I know that she is such a wonderful thoughtful person. We had a Zumba instructor come in today and teach us... well Zumba! It was fantastic. It made my day so much better. Everyone should try it:)
